Badimalika Campus started the journey of higher education in2057 as a community campus under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University withthe aim to provide higher education to students of Bajura as well as itssurrounding. In its inception, the campus was established under the leadershipof Bhanodaya Higher Secondary School using its infrastructure and humanresources. With the joint effort and initiation of political parties, socialactivists, and social worker residing in Bajura. Established as non-profitablecommunity campus, now, Badimalika Campus is the constituent campus of Far-westUniversity since 2075.

Since its establishment, Badimalika Campus has contributed togenerate access to students of Bajura district, and it has provided access ofeducation to socially marginalized and economically disadvantaged studentsensuring inclusive in education. Otherwise, they had to go to urban area bymortgaging patriarchal property. In its inception, Badimalika Campus haslaunched Bachelor program in the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciencesunder the affiliation of Tribhuvan University. It expanded two more academicprograms, Bachelor of Education in 2063 and, Bachelor in Business Studies in2067.  As Badimalika Campus has beenestablished as constituent Campus of Far-west University, now the programs viz.Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Business Studies and Bachelors of Arts, arethe major academic programs. Badimalika Campus B.Ed CSIT since 2075 as per theneeds of the students residing in lagging behind region.

 Badimalika campus is located at prime locationof Bajura district. The campus has succeeded acquiring land and building itsbasic infrastructure with help of stakeholder and governmental andnon-governmental organization. Badimalika Campus had been selected in SHED andHERP by UGC and these grants turned out to be much more supportive to a greatextent in the institutional development and academic reformation. Now,Badimalika Campus is in the initial phase of QAA certification process and thecampus has been developing strategies and mechanism for this process. Thus,Badimalika Campus has come to be known as the centre of higher education inlagging behind zone of Nepal.
